How it works
Measure your space
Measure length and width in metres. For irregular areas, split into rectangles and calculate each separately, then sum.
Choose thickness
Select the desired coat thickness in mm. 2–3 mm suits light duty; 5–10 mm for industrial environments with heavy traffic.
Select pigment type
Liquid pigments (500 ml) blend easily. Powder pigments (80 g) give stronger, more saturated colour with slightly higher coverage.
Read your results
Results show total kg, bucket count (20 kg each), and pigment jars. Order 5–10% extra for waste and overlap.
Formula
area = length × width
material (kg) = area × thickness × 1.7
buckets = ⌈ material / 20 ⌉
liquid jars = ⌈ area / 40 ⌉
powder jars = ⌈ area / 30 ⌉
